The health of women and children in the developing world is compromised by a lack of quality care and access to care, among other factors. Despite these shortcomings of service delivery, innovative approaches to removing legal and regulatory barriers, financing of services, optimizing service delivery, communication and dissemination of reproductive health information to enhance demand for services, technology, and other solutions can help improve the health outcomes of women and children.
